When you engage in online forums, please bear in mind that, in addition to your user name, all questions, answers, and comments that you share will be publicly available and all of the data you provide can be read or used by other users. Saucy Melon Profile and Playing Socially

You can choose to create Saucy Melon Profile supported by Google Firebase or to connect our Services to your account with a third-party network (such as Facebook). Setting up a profile with us or connecting our Services to a third-party network enables you:

to sign in on multiple devices;
To synchronise progress across those devices

If you do this, then your personal information will be used for the other purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including marketing and advertising.

Please note, if you do create a Saucy Melon Profile, you consent that your personal profile information including your username, avatar and game score may be displayed on a public leaderboard. If you provide us with your email, we may (sometimes) use that email to send you marketing emails highlighting our other games and Services. However, you can opt out of this at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” on the bottom of the email.

Connecting with a Third-party Network

You may choose to save your game progress by connecting the game with a third-party network, such as Facebook. By doing this, you will be able to use your account to:

sign in on multiple devices;
synchronise progress across those devices;
Where the option is available, you will also be able to follow which of your friends are also playing the game in question as well as their progress (and they will see you and your progress), or access other functionality such as inviting friends to play.

If you log in via your Facebook account, we will receive some of your Facebook account details as stipulated by your personal Facebook settings. Connecting our game with your Facebook account will not allow us to post anything on your page without your permission and we will not be able to access any information about your Facebook friends who do not play our games. If you do not want your Facebook friends to see you and your progression in our games, you can prevent it by disconnecting from Facebook within our games and updating your app permissions in your Facebook settings.

Saucy Melon uses Unity Ads for in-app advertising. If you are in the EU and do not want to be targeted in this manner, the first Unity ad you see in an app gives instruction on how to opt-out from data collection within that particular game. You can opt-out at that moment or at any time by tapping the “ℹ” Data Privacy icon on any ad you see (the “ℹ” Data Privacy icon will also let you to access the data that has been collected about you in that particular app).

For instance, you might see a short summary including information such as: We see that you are using an iPhone X and are playing from France; and that, in the past week, we have seen you 4 times in this game and have served you 24 ads. You have installed 1 game(s) based on those ads.

This Privacy Policy explains how you can opt out of certain types of data collection and processing that we undertake. Data Retention

We will keep your data for as long as your account is active or as we consider necessary for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy. We will also keep and use your data for as long as is required in order to meet our legal obligations.

Location of Storage

We store your information on Google Firebase servers that we control which are primarily based in the US. We may also use servers and engage providers that are located outside the US in order to process and store your information and to provide services to us.

From time to time, we may update this Privacy Policy in order to ensure it is relevant and follows the latest legal basis. With every update we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page. Please revisit this page every now and then to ensure you are familiar with the latest version. Any new policy will become effective immediately from the date of publication by us.
